2025 Goals And Objectives
1. Acquire a Michigan State Headquarters and Housing Hub. We have narrowed our search down to two cities within Michigan, both rather close to the bigger and newer VA Hospital’s in Michigan.
2. Hire Key Staff and Employees: Executive Director, Housing Manager, Project Manager,
Senior Chaplain and a VP of Donations and Funding.
3. Acquire at a minimum of 50 new units throughout the state of Michigan.
4. Launch veterans housing initiatives in the Washington DC area, Florida and Colorado.
5. Build out our Online and In-Person PTSD and Therapy Support Structure, partner with other local veterans org’s and train key personnel in veterans therapy and counseling strategies.
6. Our first event will be held this year in Michigan, a retreat for our staff, the veterans we serve and other key partners and stake-holders, what we affectionately refer to as our VFC Family.
7. Launch our podcast and veterans outreach show.
IN CLOSING:
At a minimum we are raising $250,000 in donations this (2025) year.
To rehabilitate the property we currently have, purchase another apartment building and
establish our homebase in Michigan, we have determined this goal to be our minimum fundraise.
There are currently more than 3,000 veterans looking for housing in the state of Michigan
according to the Veterans Administration. We plan to create a foundation for our work this year that will springboard us into cutting that number in half by end of 2026! And we are confident that we have the strategy and network to do so.
The State of Michigan will function as our pilot-region enabling us to work out our systems and procedures for nationwide growth in the immediate months and years ahead.
